CAMBAZLI (YEĞENLİ)
In the hills above Silifke you can visit the hamlet of Cambazlı, where the remains of a vast, two-storied Byzantine church stand forgotten on the outskirts of the village of Yeğenli, with several tombs with temple-like facades right at its heart.
The scenery around it here still has a wonderful rusticity about it. You really will feel that you have got away from it all.

This is a vist best made with a private car or a taxi hired in Silifke and with the total fare agreed in advance.
Follow the signs from Ura and you should be able to make a loop that brings you back out on the road from Uzuncaburç to Silifke without any backtracking.
