Taksim-Maçka Cablecar
If you want to get quickly from Taksim to Maçka and Nişantaşı the quickest and nicest way to do so is by means of the small cablecar that swings across Maçka Demokrasi Park to land you opposite the Maçka Kışlası (Barracks), a short uphill walk from Teşvikiye and Nişantaşı.
Hours of operation: Daily 8am-8pm mid-March-mid-September; 8am-7pm rest of year. İstanbulcard/Akbil valid.
