“Saddle-shedder”
Over in Turkey’s frozen northeast you’ll find the finest and most guaranteed snow on the slopes of Ejder Dağı (Mt Dragon, 3,125m), five km south of Erzurum. That fact has turned Palandöken into the country’s venue of choice for international winter sports events.
The resort offers 28 km of ski runs with something for all experience levels.
If you know you won’t be able to grab a break until late in the season, snow usually lingers here into early May.
