Keen trekkers will relish the opportunity to visit a string of ancient Hittite sites south of Çorum by following the waymarked Hitit Yolu. The basic route covers 236km although with extensions you could actually walk 385km.

For the time being there’s no accommodation in the villages along the way so you will need to bring your own tent, and be sure to carry adequate supplies to get you from place to place.
