Only opened relatively recently, the Karatape Park Hotel in Kadirli is a decent three-star in a somewhat odd location amid a rash of insurance offices. You won’t need to worry about security as the police station is next door but one.
The hotel is five minutes’ walk from the bus station and is probably the most convenient for people wanting to visit the ruins at Anavarsa.
My bedroom was spacious if rather oddly shaped. It had a comfortable double bed, decent air-con, a good wifi connection, television with AlJazeera and a minibar stocked with drinks and snacks but no alcohol. The decor was in shades of cream and light brown and came across as modern without being too jarring.
A nice bathroom ahd a biggish sink and a decent shower but no tub.
The ground floor has a large but rather impersonal sitting area.
