Squeezed in between Aynalıçeşme and Kasımpaşa, just below busy Tarlabaşı Bulvari, Çatmamescid is a small area with a mix of rundown wooden buildings and fine stone ones from the 19th century that has failed to make much of an impression on the public notice.
