Just outside Fethye, Çalış has a lovely beach which is inevitably backed with a solid wall of high-rise hotels. In amongst the run-of-the-mill cafes, bars and resturants a few pretty good eating places can be found. A sizeable expat community has made Çalıs its home.
Transport info
Although there are regular dolmuşes from central Fethiye to Çalış the nicest way to get there has to be the summer water taxi that glides slowly through the reedbeds to its mooring.
