Near Kemaliye in northeastern Turkey, Yeşlilyurt is a pretty little hamlet with some fine wood-and-stone houses and an air of great tranquillity about it. If you only have time to explore one of the villages in the area, this is probably the best choice.

Transport info
There is no public transport to Yeşilyurt from Kemaliye (22km) so you will probably have to hire a taxi. In that case you should arrange to drop in on the villages of Apcağa, Ergü and Kozlupınar on the same trip.
