Quite Blue Valley
On the way from Yalova to the thermal resort at Termal you pass through this small and somewhat ramshackle village that has grown rapidly to cater for Turks and Arabs in particular who love its small family-run pensions, all boasting thermal water in their bathrooms. There are now signs of an attempt to move upmarket with the reincarnation of the old Limak Termal Hotel (Tel: 0226-675 7800) as a boutique hotel and the construction of several more large hotels.
For the time being this is the place to come if you want easy access to Termal but can’t afford to stay it its rather pricy hotels (or find them full).
